Richard's Private Camp is the ultimate retreat for families and friends looking for a private safari experience. The camp can only be taken on an exclusive basis and every group is guaranteed to have Richard Roberts as their host and guide. Tucked away in a beautiful valley in the Olare Orok area of the Masai Mara, the camp overlooks a small river and waterhole, home to resident hippos. With a hyena den behind the camp, a resident pride of lion, and hippos grazing the lawn just after dark, the private camp is famous for its night noises!

Game drives are available from camp, as well as scenic flights in Richard's small plane, or a quieter balloon ride as the sun rises over the horizon. For the more adventurous, walking in the area never loses its appeal. Richard's Private Camp is located in the perfect walking environment, with gentle hills, steep cliffs and hidden valleys to discover. Sundowners, picnic lunches, bush dinner and night game drives are all on offer at the Private Camp, as well as visits to the local Masai villages, but the real beauty of this camp is its privacy and exclusivity.

ACCOMMODATION

Small and intimate, Richard's Private Camp has just five luxurious tents raised up on wooden platforms to take advantage of the views. Each of the spacious tents has an ensuite bathroom with solar heated water, and large verandah on wihch to relax during the heat of the day.
